Care: Can I Use Homeopathy?
The
Introductory Course is designed for those who have
a keen interest in the field of homeopathic medicine and would
like to acquire strong basic knowledge and understanding of
this medical art and science. It leads to an homeopathic introductory
course certificate.
The course consists
of 14 modules that may be taken either in the classroom or
via the internet. Completion of the Introductory Course will
allow for advanced standing in the Homeopathic Certificate
Course.
Who should
take this course:
Those who wish to enhance the use of homeopathy
in their own health care. The course will teach the basis
and principles of homeopathy, and be able to address home
treatment of some common conditions such as the cold an
first aid.
Physicians, nurses and other health care practitioners
who wish to understand how they can develop new roles
in the holistic medicine movement.
Non-homeopathic practitioners of complementary and
alternative medicine who wish to have a better understanding
of how homeopathy, its roles and boundaries, fits into
new trends toward integration.
There is a growing
interest in complementary/alternative medicine. The course
is intended for those who wish to be more knowledgeable in
their own choices of care and at the same time take more of
an active role in their health. The different Paradigms in
medicine are discussed and the role of prevention and health
maintenance will be an important aspect of the course.
