Two incomplete courses at a given time.
More than one request for academic remediation within one year.
Failure to attend more than 75% of lectures without permission from
the Dean.
Clinical Probation:
A student may be placed on clinical probation for not abiding by the
standards and regulations of the Teaching Clinic, as outlined in the
Teaching Clinic Guidelines that is available during the first year
of study. In addition, students on academic probation may lose
Clinic privileges.
Dismissal:
Students may be dismissed from the HCC at any time during their
course of study. Prior to dismissal, a student will be given at
least one written warning by the Dean. Grounds for dismissal include
the following:
Two terms on academic or clinical probation.
Failure to comply with the expectations outlined in the Code of
Conduct.
Failure of payment.
All academic policies, rules and regulations are outlined in

regulation defined in the Student Handbook has precedent over that
which is defined here, or on other parts of the web site or in any
other printed literature.
