All applicants
are considered on the basis of their academic achievement, relevant
experience, motivation, character, humanistic qualities and
maturity.
A)
Prerequisites
The academic prerequisites
for admission are as follows:
Two years of study at a College/University level.
While two years of study at College/University is the
basic requirement, a Bachelor Degree is recommended.
In the event that
any prerequisite has not been obtained at the time of application,
arrangements must be made with other educational institutions
to complete the required courses by the commencement of the
Homeopathic Medicine Programme.
B)
Special Applicant
Candidates who believe they are eligible for this category
must contact the Registrar in writing before making formal
application. This category is designed to provide opportunities
to those who:
have not attended a post secondary institution as a full-time
student; or
have completed less than 2 years of University.
To be eligible
for consideration under this category, the candidate must demonstrate
exceptional competence and motivation and must have been employed
or active in the community for at least four years since leaving
high school. Candidates who meet the above specifications will
be assessed as having made an exceptional contribution to society.
In this, candidates must have shown creativity, initiative and
leadership.
