The Certificate Course is equivalent to eleven semester length College courses and leads to the HCC's Certificate in Homeopathy. It is equivalent to over 340 of classroom hours. It is also accepted as partial fulfillment of entrance requirements into practical training for the professional Homeopathic Medicine & Science Program (D.H.M.S.). Science courses are other prerequisites for the professional program.
The course length is one year and comprises of 34 modules taught either in the classroom (one or two evenings a week, one or two weeks a month) or via the Internet.
The course is oriented to:
  • All those who are considering pursuing a professional career in homeopathy, but are finding difficulty in reaching a final decision.
  • The staff of pharmacies, and health food stores.
  • The staff of homeopathic and other complementary medical clinics.
  • Those interested in homeopathic medicine and further their knowledge.
  • Those who later want to become homeopathic doctors.
The course will help students to:
  • Discuss current issues facing homeopathy; and contribution to health care, and expectations for the future.
  • Understand the origins, concepts and different practices of homeopathy. Particular attention is given to classical homeopathy.
  • Understand homeopathic case taking and approaches to treatment in all relevant systems.
  • Understand the practice of homeopathic medicine its uses, scope and limitations.
  • Over 90 homeopathic medicines will be studied with their practical/clinical applications.
